Do's :

• Please try to carry the important items by Air like utensils, Woolen Clothing etc.
• Keep the important documents aside.
• Hand Carry Baggage to be kept aside and accordingly informed to the supervisor at the time of packing.
• Any increase in volume, please keep us informed.
• Let us know if you have any special service requirements. Pets /cars /piano /bikes
• Please Inform us in case you have a storage need
• Try to be present during packing to ensure there are no misunderstandings about what is to be packed.
• If you pack any boxes yourself, please leave them open for the supervisor to check. Otherwise, he will label them as "PBO " ( packed by owner ) which may cause problems with customs authorities and insurance companies.
• We will send you the checklist of the documents needed prior to the move
• Get rid of unnecessary clutter before you go. Host a Garage sale or donate goods to your favourite charity. Dispose of as much trash as possible before the big day.
• Move plotted plants and planters from the front porch and walkways on the move day.
• Remove all Rugs and Door mats and other low hanging items so that packing can take place effectively.

Don'ts :

• Do not allow /avoid jewellery, expensive watches, money, coins or stamp collection to be packed. These should be carried by you because such items cannot be insured for transit.
• Please avoid carrying Liquor / Liquids in the shipment.
• To avoid carrying silverware, ivory, skins of animals, antiques, narcotics and psychotropic substances.
• To avoid carrying books, periodicals, maps and literature which are either banned or prohibited or detrimental to the interest of your destination country.
• Do not carry Perishable items.
• There could be some items that are country specific restricted, we will advise you if anything is prohibited.
• Don't forget to check with our dedicated account manager who can advise you on a lot of things that could be beneficial to take along.
